Calcium-Rich

Fish is a good source of calcium, especially when canned and with its bones.

This food has a high value of Vitamin D, essential for good calcium absorption. Interestingly, canned sardines reach the same calcium level as 10oz of milk, and one can of sardines or salmon immediately corresponds to 25% of the recommended daily value of calcium, and 100% of the same for Vitamin D.

Calcium is known to ensure bone health, promoting their strength, which prevents situations of falls or fractures.

However, it has many other benefits, such as protecting muscle health, balancing blood pH, better heart health, and preventing the formation of kidney stones.

The richest fish in calcium are Sardines (with bones), Salmon, Mackerel, and Jack Mackerel.
